| The Suburbs |
| Hospital - In Use
This is the hospital in use by the city. Do not confuse it with the hospital of the Forsaken's terrirtory, as this is the one that people come to. This is the border that physically wounded dogs come through to join the Forsaken pack.

| Asylum - Abandoned
This asylum is unused by the humans, but serves as a border marker for those dogs that enter Forsaken territory with mental damage (driven mad, shell shock, etc.). There is nothing to confuse this asylum with, as it is the only place that can raise the hairs on your back with tension.

| The Graveyard - In Use
The old graveyard is the border for dogs that enter the city not looking for a pack. For those dogs, they learn fear before they enter, and perhaps reconsider what a pack could mean for them

| The Highway - In Use
The hot paved roadway that leads into Gem River City is a border to the Lost territory. Dogs that come from the desert, unharmed, enter through this border.

| Factory - Abandoned
The old factory marks the second border for the Lost pack. Abandoned long ago, it makes a wonderful shelter for those dogs that arrive in the rain. Dogs that arrive from other towns, etc, enter Lost territory here.

| Forsaken Territory |
| The Old Hospital
This is the old hospital. It was once used a lot, but now, since the newer one was built, it has been abandoned. The foundation is still strong though, and the Forsaken pack uses it as their headquarters.

| Agnev Park
A large park with a pond in the middle. Many people come here with their children, so be careful if you don't like humans. It's a good place for free food though, at least, when the hot dog man is around.

| Main Street
This is the street with all the shops, food stands, and businesses, and therefore, many humans running around. Sometimes the food stands are friendly and hand out food, and sometimes they are cruel and slap you with a broom. But most of the time, they are willing to at least leave what they drop on the ground to be scavanged.

| Silver Phoenix Alley
A night club sits itself down a good length away from another building, and look, you have an alley. The humans call it Silver Phoenix Alley, and so the dogs have come to use that name as well. No people use it though, as it's a dead end behind the buildings. The only thing here is a dumpster with the night club's old trash in it, but there is no food to be found.

| Gem River
The Forsaken are lucky enough to have the river that the city was named for carve through their territory. It's crystal waters are what gave it the name, and most of the dogs use it to cool off in the summer heat, or get a drink. The water has always been clean, and is the only source of water besides the park's pond. But few dogs drink from the pond, because it is dirty and disease ridden. This is the only water that the Forsaken have, but it is plentiful.

| Lost Territory |
| Old High School
The old high school was a place of education once, but when the new one was built just outside of town, this one was left for the dogs. Literally. The Lost pack uses this building as their meeting place.

| Hugh's Pond
This pond is the only source of water that the Lost dogs have. It is clean enough, but the river flows into it, and when it hits the mud of the pond bottom, it becomes a murky mess.

| Park Avenue
Many people walk this street, though not as many as Main St. This is a place where you might be able to scrounge some food up if you're desperate, but the stand workers aren't friendly in this part of town, and you're more likely to be leashed up and taken to the pound.

| Human Place
This is where the humans live. Large buildings with many windows tower over the streets, and the darkness that they create over the streets is frightening. This is a dangerous place to be at times, because these people don't abide by the law...

| The Quarry
An old rock quarry sits on the edge of Lost territory. This is a good place to come and relax, or hunt some rabbits. Here it's not likely that you'll be snatched up by anything, and there are many places to hide from intruders as well.

| Unclaimed Territory |
| Gem River Docks
There is a long run of boat docks over the wide expanse of river, and here you can find friendly people that will toss you a nice hamburger for lunch if you look cute. You can also take a swim, but be careful not to get caught up in the propeller of a motor boat. You like your head don't you?

| McPhereson's Junkyard
This land fill is long left to be on its own, but the dogs use it as a place to meet others. Often you can find some fresh trash in here that a kid tossed over the fence, or even some old food that hasn't quite gone bad yet. But be careful that you don't eat something that's tainted. Everyone else values your life, even if you don't.

| The Island
A bridge over the river leads to a small island, but people don't come here anymore. Most female dogs use this as their birthing grounds, in the secluded hollows of the uncarved land.

| The Stables
Small dogs beware, many people come here to ride horses, and while the owners of the stable hand out free food to any stray, the horses could stomp even a large dog into the dirt. Watch your back, those giant animals aren't particularly careful when it comes to showing you that they're bigger than you.

| The Pits
There are only a few people here, but be careful to steer clear of them, they pick dogs up to fight. Sure, you may think that you could beat a house pet any day, but they are trained to fight, and only the best survive to battle another day. These are not dogs to be tampered with, and you may very well meet your end in trying to simply get away.
